Radiomics Features in Contrast‐Enhanced and Nonenhanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging Images Are Associated With High Intracranial Aneurysmal Risk

چکیده
BACKGROUND Aneurysm wall enhancement is a potential imaging biomarker for risk stratification of intracranial aneurysms (IAs). Variations in the texture magnetic resonance (MRI) signal could shed light on underlying pathobiology aneurysm wall. Radiomics can help quantify textural complexity MRI images, which lead to better understanding and IAs. Herein, we investigated use radiomics derived from nonenhanced contrast‐enhanced identify high‐risk IAs evaluated their performance different data sets. METHODS We obtained 126 centers extracted features each aneurysm. then built random forest model part 3‐T set based 5‐year population, hypertension, age, size aneurysm, earlier SAH another site (PHASES) score. tested this same set, 7‐T an external set. also performed multivariate analysis understand significance features. RESULTS found that 75 were significantly between high‐ low‐risk The had good when (accuracy, 90%; sensitivity, 86%; specificity, 92%); however, sets, it moderate 88%; 50%; 95% set; accuracy, 62%; 27%; 100% set). CONCLUSIONS show high accuracy identifying be used as tool quantifying enhancement.

Radiomics modelling of IMRT induced acute rectal toxicity using clinical and magnetic resonance imaging features
Introduction: Rectal toxicity is a dose limiting issue in prostate cancer radiotherapy. Prediction of these effects may be used to tailor the therapy. The purpose of this work was to develop predictive radiomic models based on clinical, dosimetric and radiomic features extracted from rectal wall magnetic resonance image (MRI). Materials and Methods: This st...

Neurology India | May-Jun 2009 | Vol 57 | Issue 3 A 27-year-old young male presented with a fiveyear history of headache and seizures with recent onset tingling and numbness in the right upper limb. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed a large nonenhancing well-marginated extra-axial mass in the left frontotemporal region. On T1-weighted image the lesion showed mixed intensity reticulated ...

Background: The characteristic clinical presentation of glomus tumors and the low negative predictive value of themagnetic resonance imaging (MRI) raise the question whether MRI improves their management. Therefore, this studyaimed to investigate whether MRI improved the management of glomus tumors. Methods: In total, 87 patients with a histologically confirmed glomus tumor wer...
